Landrey and Maeve made the perfect models for the mini sibling session! We met for this session at JF Gregory Park in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This park is about 15 minutes from Savannah and completely worth the drive. It has a great park for the kids that is completely gated and close to the restrooms- only parents will understand the importance of this.
There is a nature trail at the back of the property and is stunning to walk down if you have the time. The trail makes a complete loop and I can usually finish the entire thing in an hour if I am pushing my son in his stroller. The trail allows you to walk on a mostly paved path through the marsh and I highly recommend it- though I will note that it's a good idea to have bug spray on hand (the bugs love the trail as much as I do).
This family comes here a lot as well and we wanted the girls to feel comfortable in their environment. We met early in the morning before it was too hot and before nap times- as a mom of an baby boy who just celebrated his FIRST birthday... *insert ugly crying face here* I know how important it is to stay on your little one's schedule!
These two sisters are so incredibly sweet and beautiful. As you can tell, they love being outdoors! I prefer shooting outdoors as well... especially when I am shooting children or family portraits. The open area allows for the kids to run around, play chase and even find a puddle of water from time to time! Moving around and playing allows them to forget they are infront of a camera- their little personalities really shine through when this happens and I am here for all the impromtu giggles, dance parties and everything in between.
